Dance with the Stars

Kerrigan loves to dance! (Have I mentioned this makes me uber happy?) Last Saturday she spent the morning with the LHS Star Steppers learning a routine to High School Musical. Then she got to perform at the High School Basket ball game. She was the youngest one so she by no means knew the dance perfectly, but it was so much fun to see her having the time of her life!! She loves those drill team girls and was right in her element. One of her favoirte parts is the make up! I am so in trouble!

My First Post!!

It is official! I have started my blog. I am both excited at the prospect of this wonderful journal of my kids' lives and apprehensive at the idea of adding one more thing to do into my busy life! To begin let me start with a description of where we are in life today...

As it is with most moms, life is all about my kids, so let's talk about them! Quinton Benson Pierce is 7 1/2 which just blows my mind! He is in first grade and loves school. He always wants to go to school and even does homework without too much complaining. He has the most vivid imagination of any kid I know and just generally loves life. He is also a very quirky kid with his own ideas about everything. I can't wait for you to read some of the crazy stuff he comes up with!

Miss Kerrigan Annette Pierce (aka The Princess as she has been appropriately named by her daddy) is 3 1/2. Kerrigan is the "easiest" of my 3 kiddos. She pretty much goes with the flow. She LOVES dance and gymnastics class and I appreciate this very much. I guess God heard all those prayers while I was pregnant! She loves to go places and be around all those older dancers at the studio. She is also very into 3 year old fashion and likes to help me match her bows to her outfits! A girly girl! Love it!

And our third little blessing is Kortlen Jane Pierce. She is 21 months old and keeps us all hopping! She has her own ideas about everything and is pretty sure that the whole world should share her views. She can be my most loving child...and my meanest, so watch out! She makes me laugh out loud every day! She is starting to love to dance and I can't wait to see what her teachers think about her next year in dance class (she will have to be in someone else's class because I don't think it would work having mom for a teacher for her!) She is currently running through the house naked as she has decided that clothes are not needed today! That is Kort!

I thank God every day for my kids, yes, even on those days when I think I could pull my hair out strand by strand. I am sure that 95% of my blogging will be about those little toots. Maybe Len and I will end up at least in the background of a few of the pictures!
